StepStone Infrastructure and Real Assets (SIRA), founded in 2014, is a division of StepStone Group focused on private market investments in infrastructure and real assets. As of December 31, 2025, SIRA managed approximately $132 billion in capital, deploying over $13 billion annually across primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities. Our global team of over 75 investment professionals brings extensive expertise across various infrastructure and real asset sectors, such as energy, transportation, natural capital, agriculture, and other essential assets, with a presence in North America, Europe, and Australia.
About the role
StepStone is looking for enthusiastic undergraduates graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 to join our SIRA team as Summer Analysts. This position offers a unique chance to gain valuable insights into the private equity sector. As a Summer Analyst, you will explore various industries including transportation, telecommunications, utilities, power, energy, logistics, renewables, social projects, sustainability, and impact investing. You will gain exposure to diverse companies, assets, and capital structures, enriching your understanding of infrastructure investments.
What you’ll do
As a Summer Analyst, you will collaborate with the team to conduct due diligence on investment opportunities within SIRA's verticals, including infrastructure fund investments, co-investments, and secondaries. You will also prepare and present recommendations to the investment team for SIRA's Investment Committee.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis and due diligence on co-investment opportunities, as well as primary and secondary transactions within private equity, particularly in infrastructure, agriculture, and natural resources sectors.
- Engage in financial modeling and analytical tasks to support the investment process.
