THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join our thriving team. This position is ideal for sales professionals eager to advance their careers within a fast-paced startup environment. In this role, you will engage in proactive prospecting and closing new business opportunities alongside our founders and marketing team. You will also foster strong relationships with our current and potential clients, helping to shape our product offerings and go-to-market strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish foundational processes for customer-facing teams at Baseten.
Lead, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities effectively.
Collaborate with the marketing and BDR teams to build a robust sales pipeline that aligns with our quarterly and annual targets.
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders within client accounts.
Work collaboratively across departments to enhance customer experience and sales efficacy.
REQUIREMENTS
4-7 years of proven sales experience in a SaaS environment.
Demonstrated experience in selling to technical audiences.
Familiarity with developer or machine-learning tools is a plus but not mandatory.
Track record of successfully closing complex sales cycles.
Strong proficiency in sales and marketing automation platforms.
A keen interest in contributing to a fast-paced, early-stage startup.
