Role Overview:

As an Account Executive (AE) at Maxima, you will be instrumental in driving new business initiatives and broadening our influence within enterprise finance sectors. Your role will encompass the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing deals. You will engage with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting leaders, illustrating how Maxima can revolutionize their month-end close into a streamlined, autonomous operation.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly growing AI company at a crucial juncture. You will work closely with leadership, Product, and Marketing to enhance our sales strategies, influence product development through customer insights, and define Maxima's market approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from lead qualification to closure, balancing multiple high-value opportunities in mid-market and enterprise segments.

  • Prospecting and Pipeline Generation: Collaborate with BDRs to pinpoint, target, and engage potential customers through diverse outbound and inbound channels.

  • Discovery and Solutioning: Identify customer challenges, reveal business needs, and present customized demonstrations and ROI narratives that highlight Maxima’s unique advantages.

  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate robust relationships with finance executives, IT, and operations leaders to navigate intricate purchasing processes.

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Ensure accurate pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting using CRM tools.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to guarantee smooth onboarding and sustained customer satisfaction.

  • Market Feedback: Serve as the customer advocate internally, assisting in refining messaging, product priorities, and training materials.
