About The Role

We are on the lookout for highly driven and results-oriented sales professionals to join our Mid-Market Select team. This team will play a pivotal role in acquiring new business within the largest and most strategic segment of the Mid-Market.

We prioritize a vibrant in-office culture; this role mandates your presence at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA, five days a week.

What You'll Do

  • Source and Cultivate Opportunities:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new strategic business opportunities within Select Named Accounts.
    • Engage in strategic outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, field events, and online outreach to generate leads.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    • Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close, aiming to meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
    • Conduct online demonstrations, craft persuasive proposals, and actively engage in demos and trials to highlight Verkada's value proposition.
    • Create impactful presentations and proposals; instill urgency to drive deal closure and negotiate pricing and contractual agreements.
  • Territory Planning and Forecasting:
    • Design and execute a strategic territory plan to optimize opportunities within the Select segment.
    • Maintain precise pipeline management and contribute to forecasting efforts to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Customer Engagement and Consultation:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers within the Select segment, discerning their needs and recommending appropriate Verkada solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with channel partners to strengthen customer relationships and facilitate successful launches.
