Position Overview:

We are excited to welcome a skilled Accountant to our dynamic team at our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and special projects related to commercial and multi-family real estate assets and investors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring daily accounting activities and financial transactions in accordance with our Operations Manual. Key responsibilities encompass:

  • Maintaining the General Ledger, preparing and posting journal entries and cash receipts, and addressing any coding or booking discrepancies.
  • Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various entities.
  • Conducting bi-monthly account reconciliations for cash, receivables, payables, accruals, intercompany transactions, and lender obligations.
  • Communicating financial results with onsite property management teams.
  • Investigating variances and providing detailed reports.
  • Ensuring timely completion of processes.
  • Collaborating with various departments across the organization.
  • Representing the company professionally when interacting with residents, colleagues, and the general public.
