We are looking for candidates who possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a knack for networking, and a passion for local experiences. Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field is advantageous. The ideal candidate is resourceful, creative, and has a proactive approach to problem-solving. A proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing partnerships is highly desirable.

Our mission is to generate leads, articulate Airbnb’s unique value proposition, and successfully guide those leads through the sales and partnership funnel to expand our Experiences business. Together, we create unforgettable hosted experiences that bridge connections among people, addressing the growing concerns of loneliness by fostering real-world interactions.

 

Your Impact:

As the Acquisition Lead for Experiences in Rome, you will spearhead the acquisition of local experiences through strategic research, proactive sourcing, and persuasive pitching. This role requires creativity and resourcefulness, as you will explore various avenues to enhance the Experiences business in your city. You will leverage both your personal network and third-party data tools to identify and develop high-quality, in-demand experiences, as well as engage with content creators and local businesses as hosts. Balancing the needs of our design, business, legal, and leadership teams, you will navigate acquired and co-created experiences through the acquisition process. Additionally, you will support hosts in optimizing their presence on the platform for the initial 6-12 months, ensuring their Experiences business thrives sustainably. You will represent your city in cross-functional meetings and leadership forums, motivating your local team to achieve ambitious targets. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Supply Acquisition - Experiences for EMEA.
