About the Role
The Acquisitions Analyst will be instrumental in the evaluation and execution of commercial real estate investments. You will be tasked with financial modeling, underwriting, and asset valuation utilizing advanced tools such as Argus Enterprise (AE) and Microsoft Excel. Additionally, you will assist in preparing investment presentations, investor memos, and internal reports to facilitate informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and project management skills are critical, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. A successful candidate will exhibit initiative, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to enhancing efficiencies within the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain intricate financial models and cash flow projections using Microsoft Excel, Argus Enterprise, and Argus DCF.
- Compose comprehensive investment memoranda for both internal stakeholders and external partners, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Conduct thorough analyses of property-level financials including historical operating results, budgets, rent rolls, leases, loan agreements, and ground leases.
- Review real estate documents related to ownership structures, contracts, and other critical documentation.
