Reports To: Program Coordinator

You will be integral in delivering structured educational experiences that occur beyond the traditional school hours. Our programs blend academic assistance, enrichment activities, and skill development to foster students' growth and learning. Qualifications:
- Must possess either a) an Associate Degree or higher, b) 48 college credit units, or c) pass the Instructional Aide exam
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and TB test clearance is required
- Availability to work every day during after-school hours and commitment for the entire academic year (from hire date through mid-June) is essential
- Previous experience working with children is necessary, along with the ability to independently lead and supervise a group of up to 22 students in various activities including play, homework assistance, and enrichment programming
- Strong verbal communication skills, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Basic proficiency in technology and computer skills (e.g., Word, Email, Workvivo, Workday, Google Drive)
- Willingness to complete all required training, including Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment, and SEL PQA training
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
- Effective communication skills in English to engage with students and families
- Basic English reading proficiency to assist students' academic development and to align with school day activities
