Your Role
As an AI/ML Engineer Intern, you will serve as the technical foundation of our content platform. You will confront essential challenges such as: How do we construct scalable ML systems that cater to millions while ensuring low latency? What is the most effective architecture for training and deploying models that can analyze cultural trends in real-time? How can we utilize state-of-the-art models to enhance the creative process without sacrificing quality? Working independently alongside our founder and team, your solutions will significantly impact our company's trajectory. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Building and deploying production-ready ML models within our content ecosystem.
- Designing scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines to manage extensive media datasets.
- Implementing inference systems for optimizing content across various sectors.
- Fine-tuning and deploying multimodal AI systems using best practices in MLOps.
- Collaborating with data science teams to transition research models into production systems.
- Optimizing model performance for cost efficiency while upholding accuracy and speed standards.
- Integrating ML features into existing platforms and developing APIs for seamless model access.
Your Profile
You are an aspiring ML engineer focused on production, adept at connecting advanced technology with scalable systems. Your strengths lie in establishing robust ML infrastructures that empower real-world applications at scale. You excel in dynamic environments where your technical choices significantly influence business results and user experiences. Your qualifications typically include:
- A degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of practical ML engineering experience, building production systems within major tech firms, high-growth startups, or media/entertainment platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside effective communication abilities.
