Basic Qualifications:Ph. D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience. Deep expertise in Time Series Foundation Models (beyond simple forecasting tasks). Extensive experience in signal processing for sensor data and its integration with deep learning methodologies. Proficient in Python, PyTorch (including libraries such as torchaudio, torchvision, and torchmetrics), with familiarity in PyTorch Lightning. A robust publication record in esteemed venues like ICASSP, NeurIPS, InterSpeech, ICML, ICLR, KDD, ICRA, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or equivalent contributions to the field such as patents or significant open-source projects. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in industrial research. Experience with on-device AI implementations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and innovate in AI research projects focusing on the labeling, prediction, classification, clustering, description, and fusion of multi-sensor data, including acoustic, telemetry time series, vibration, radar, lidar, image, Wi-Fi, and ultrasound data. Enhance advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles and AI functionalities across various Bosch products.
  • Design, architect, and validate multi-modal deep learning and Time Series Foundation Models (TSFM) tailored for multivariate time series signals.
  • Integrate and expand time series models to utilize data from auxiliary modalities such as videos and images, improving contextual understanding.
  • Provide expert insights to management within technological sectors, supporting strategic planning, research and development trajectories, and investment decisions.
  • Stay updated on cutting-edge technological advancements, documenting and sharing research outcomes through high-quality publications and patent submissions.
