Join us as an Aircraft Systems Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and overseeing the verification and validation testing processes for cutting-edge mobility solutions and beyond. You will engage with our systems engineering teams and external system suppliers to drive excellence in our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft, manage, standardize, and execute Integration Test Procedures (ITPs), Integration Test Reports (ITRs), and System Verification Reports (ITRs) tailored for vehicle systems.
• Work closely with specialists in vehicle systems, including control systems engineers, software and hardware engineers, and sensor technology experts to integrate, verify, and validate vehicle systems and subsystems throughout the testing process.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in systems engineering standards and methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools for requirements development, verification, and validation, ensuring that innovative practices are incorporated into system integration and testing environments.
• Facilitate coordination among test teams, vehicle systems teams, Program Management, Flight Test, Certification Authorities, Consultants, Suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Engage in discussions with regulatory agencies and certification authorities from the USA and abroad regarding systems integration, testing, verification, and validation.
• Develop, maintain, and control test requirements and procedures with a focus on repeatability, regression, and automation.
• Contribute to the formulation of vehicle system test plans and strategies for verification, encompassing verification requirements, testing methods, pass/fail criteria, corrective actions, and compliance measures.
• Lead the creation of validation plans and metrics to assess the effectiveness, operational suitability, sustainability, and survivability of vehicle systems in intended operational environments.
