Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Lead the electrical engineering operations within the AIT department, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery of electrical integration and testing initiatives. Mentor and manage a team of Electrical Engineers, focusing on performance management, professional growth, and technical guidance. Develop a strategic roadmap for the advancement of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Command and Control framework, collaborating with the IT and Digital tools team for implementation. Establish and uphold electrical AIT processes, standards, and best practices across various spacecraft programs. Provide expert technical insights on system-level integration and verification, including power systems, harnessing, grounding schemes, EMC, and flight electrical architecture, for both the team and the design group. Work closely with Systems Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Program Management to ensure electrical AIT aligns with overarching project objectives. Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex electrical integration and testing challenges with flight hardware. Participate in design reviews, readiness assessments, technical boards, and program meetings as the electrical AIT subject matter expert. Ensure compliance of all electrical integration activities with industry standards, mission requirements, and safety protocols. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of AIT facilities, equipment, and testing infrastructure to adapt to the changing demands of spacecraft.

We are currently in search of a skilled AIT Spacecraft Electrical Engineering Manager to guide our Electrical AIT team. In this pivotal leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing.
You will have the opportunity to manage and nurture a talented team of Electrical Engineers and Technicians, steering them through critical projects from initial concept through to launch readiness. This role offers a unique chance to influence the evolution of our space systems and play a direct role in our flight program's success.
This position reports directly to our Chief AIT.
