Writing and optimizing code in SQL, Python, and/or R, with familiarity in cloud-based ML platforms like Azure ML or Databricks. Integrating multiple data sources into well-governed, reliable platforms that maintain strong data quality, lineage, and documentation practices. Translating business needs into scalable analytics solutions, including reporting and semantic layers. Enhancing and operating data platforms through monitoring, automation, and sound software engineering practices. As an Analytics & Data Engineer, you will be integral in converting complex data into valuable, actionable insights that bolster safe and efficient nuclear operations. Collaborating within Nuclear Operations and IT Services, you will play a crucial role in EDF's mission towards An Electric Britain by creating scalable, user-centric data platforms that improve operational performance, predictive capability, and long-term sustainability.
You'll engage with stakeholders across engineering, operations, maintenance, and compliance, facilitating intelligent, data-driven decision-making in a vital national context.
This role primarily allows for remote work, with the option to connect and collaborate in person at our Gloucester Business Park office once or twice a month. These in-person sessions foster planning, innovation, and team bonding, enabling you to work flexibly from home while maintaining close connections with colleagues and stakeholders.
