The team, based in a 153,000 square foot headquarters in Northern California, includes 450 engineers and entrepreneurs working on end-to-end satellite design, build, and operations.
The Antenna Intern position for Fall 2026 is a twelve-week, hourly internship designed for students enrolled in a four-year university program. This role centers on hands-on collaboration with engineers from mechanical, thermal, and payload systems to advance antenna technology for current and future satellite payloads.
What you will do
- Use advanced design tools to develop communications antenna systems that can adapt to changing on-orbit conditions and customer requirements.
- Work with vendors to design and source RF and antenna components, then verify their performance through detailed anechoic chamber testing.
- Partner with teams across Mechanical, Structural, Thermal, and Payload Systems to co-design antenna components and systems.
