The position centers on building platforms, tools, and workflows that help engineers create and execute reliable API tests. It also covers managing integrations with external tools and maintaining their reliability through automated API-level validation.
What you will do
Test infrastructure and platform
- Design and build automated API testing infrastructure for local, CI, and production-mirror environments.
- Maintain a shared library of reusable testing utilities, fixtures, helpers, and patterns for engineering teams.
- Lead efforts to containerize test environments using Docker and related tools to ensure consistent, reliable test runs.
- Integrate test infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, including test reporting, alerting, and failure analysis workflows.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, or methodologies to improve the reliability, speed, and coverage of testing.
External tool integrations and continuous validation
- Develop and maintain automated integration tests for third-party and external API-based tools used by zerorisk.
- Create monitoring and alerting systems to detect regressions or unexpected changes in external API behavior.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand integration needs and translate them into automated, continuous testing scenarios.
