Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an application or field engineer within the data center or power infrastructure industry. Strong knowledge of power backup systems, UPS, batteries, and/or ultracapacitors. Familiarity with thermal management, grid-tied systems, and the operational requirements of data centers. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel domestically (up to 25-40%) for customer engagements and site support. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Tier 1 or hyperscale data center operators. Knowledge of energy storage regulations and incentive programs in the United States. Hands-on expertise with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS) or electrical CAD tools. Experience with industrial or grid-connected systems, particularly in backup power applications.

Are you passionate about power infrastructure and energy storage? Skeleton Technologies is seeking a motivated and skilled Application Engineer to provide invaluable support to our customers and partners in the data center sector across the United States. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison among our sales, product, and engineering teams while engaging with prominent data center clients. Your expertise in power infrastructure, energy storage technologies, and thermal management will play a crucial role in promoting Skeleton’s innovative Supercapacitor and SuperBattery solutions as effective alternatives to traditional systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support to our data center clientele and partners.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to discern customer needs and convert them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Design and refine system architectures for the integration of Skeleton’s ultracapacitors into UPS, backup power, and energy efficiency applications for data centers.
  • Conduct on-site visits, technical training sessions, and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
  • Assist in system design, including electrical schematics, thermal considerations, and lifecycle cost analysis.
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Development to relay field feedback and enhance product-market alignment.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation such as specifications, integration guides, and white papers tailored for the U. S. data center market.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent U. S. industry standards and certifications (UL, IEEE, etc.).
