Qualifications Required for SuccessBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of industrial robotics, motion control, and machine vision, with a strong eagerness to learn and apply these concepts in manufacturing contexts. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and/or Python. Strong collaborative skills, with an ability to work efficiently with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners during deployment and support. Preferred QualificationsFoundational knowledge of AI concepts related to perception, robotics, and automation, coupled with a keen interest in their application in manufacturing. Experience with ROS and other relevant robotics frameworks.

Role Overview

The Application Engineer - Intelligent Manufacturing Automation will join the automation team in Mountain View, California. This role centers on integrating and developing robotics solutions for manufacturing automation. The work covers process design, software features, and the application of advanced AI technologies. Collaboration with both internal teams and industry partners is a key part of deploying robotic systems in real production environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead technical development and integration of advanced robotic automation solutions for manufacturing, using the Intrinsic platform, ROS, and modern AI technologies.
  • Work directly with research and industry partners to combine AI and automation within factory environments.
  • Document designs, processes, and results in detail to ensure clear communication with technical teams and partners.
