Your Role in Our Success
As the largest financial institution in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire, Wave is experiencing exponential growth. We are still at the early stages of our product development, with a significant opportunity to impact the daily lives of our users.
We are seeking a skilled Application Security Engineer who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute immediately. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our application security by collaborating with product teams to develop secure systems. Our customers trust us with their finances, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining that trust.
This position offers a wide range of security projects, from direct application security to collaborating with our infrastructure team to secure our databases.
Familiarity with industry certifications such as ISO-27001 and PCI-DSS is a plus, although you will not be responsible for conducting audits.
Our priorities shift frequently, but here are some current projects:
- Centralizing application-level login and permission enforcement
- Configuring and utilizing external SIEM solutions for infrastructure monitoring
- Enhancing our secret management strategy
- Conducting security reviews of our public-facing APIs
- Collaborating with various teams to establish secure protocols and assist in investigations and incident responses
- Working with our IT team on security-related initiatives
