This is where your expertise comes into play.
Our AI & Data team is currently inundated with high-value AI initiatives and requires a dedicated Applied AI Engineer. You will be one of the pioneering Applied AI Engineers at Zello, tasked with transforming AI agents from prototypes to production, ensuring their operational health by monitoring quality, managing human reinforcement workflows, and fostering ongoing improvements.
In your first year, you will:
Launch at least 3 production-grade AI agents within your initial 90 days that are actively utilized by internal teams (integrated with Slack, automating workflows, and serving as data-driven assistants).
Develop evaluation frameworks for deployed agents featuring automated quality scoring and regression detection.
Seamlessly integrate AI solutions with Zello's existing systems (Slack, Jira, HubSpot, Snowflake) through APIs, establishing comprehensive logging and monitoring protocols.
Create reusable code patterns and component libraries to accelerate future agent development.
Take ownership of the operations for deployed agents: monitor their performance, supervise human reinforcement processes, address failures, and drive measurable enhancements in agent quality over time.
Independently identify and implement AI tools for new applications, whether proposed by stakeholders or discovered independently.
