You are a student at an engineering school, fashion school, or equivalent university, seeking a gap year internship, end-of-studies internship, or apprenticeship. You are dynamic, organized, and rigorous, with a passion for the fashion industry.

About the job

Ten years ago, I dared to envision the first French fashion brand born online... it was called Les Composantes, and today it is known as Sézane. In 2016, our family expanded with the addition of Octobre Éditions.

My priorities have remained consistent: to innovate while placing human values, creativity, quality, and service at the forefront of everything we do.

To co-create our future, we are currently seeking experienced, structured, and agile talents who share the desire to continuously improve every aspect of our work.

We are looking for passionate, autonomous talents who approach their work with respect for others, believing that nothing is unattainable if we put in the effort.

Octobre Éditions offers a playground where every day is unique; your role today may differ from your role yesterday and likely will from your role tomorrow. Does this resonate with you? Reach out to us!

Octobre Éditions provides the essentials of men’s wardrobe, timeless pieces that one enjoys wearing year after year. As the younger sibling of Sézane, we are growing and seek the talent of an Assistant Material Manager (H/F) to join our Collection team for an apprenticeship starting September 2026.

This position is based in Paris (75).

Reporting to the Material Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing for creative meetings: organizing product category robracks and collecting pricing data from suppliers;
  • Managing and animating the fabric library: entering technical data into various tracking tools from technical sheets and organizing fabric swatches;
  • Preparing weekly development/quality meetings: sending out agendas and preparing relevant fabric swatches and robracks;
  • Preparing selection meetings to identify material concerns and quality issues;
  • Preparing handover meetings to production: creating the fabric library to be handed over to the production team, including selected qualities and corresponding robracks, and completing technical files;
  • Managing end-of-rolls at the end of the collection and anticipating orders for sample shootings in collaboration with the production team;
  • Gathering information related to material supplier certifications and creating a directory;
  • Creating a supply library (buttons, zippers, etc.) and gathering technical information and traceability.

About Sézane

Sézane is a pioneering French fashion brand, launched online with a mission to innovate and prioritize quality and service. With the addition of Octobre Éditions, we continue to expand our offerings while maintaining our commitment to timeless style and sustainability.
