Join our dynamic culinary team as an Assistant Chef / Commi 2, where your expertise in a la carte cooking, meat temperatures, and food presentation will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for preparing all orders submitted by the service staff, ensuring timely and precise cooking in accordance with our menu specifications.
- Utilize your culinary knowledge to create dishes that meet our high standards and specifications.
- Prepare and cook all orders promptly while maintaining the quality and taste of each dish.
- Ensure that all food leaves the kitchen in optimal condition.
- Assist in meal preparation by making sauces, soups, and setting up other items related to the daily menu.
- Utilize standard food preparation techniques for prepping food products.
- Become familiar with our menus, recipes, and presentation techniques.
- Ensure proper storage of food items, labeling containers, and adhering to safety and storage protocols.
- Prepare food items for other kitchen departments as needed and assist with food preparation for subsequent shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in your work area, including counters, utensils, and equipment, in line with health regulations.
- In the absence of the Supervisor, take responsibility for assigned employees, delegate tasks, and ensure proper performance.
- Report to work on time and dressed according to company policy.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
