Your Role as Assistant Financial Controller
In the initial months, your role will involve essential administrative responsibilities designed to lay a solid financial groundwork through meticulous management of invoices, reconciliations, payroll verification, and payment processing. This role is pivotal in preparing for extensive AI integration. The accuracy and consistency you bring will be critical in our journey towards automation and scalability, as you help train the system by ensuring that data and processes are reliable and repeatable. You will work closely with our Head of Finance, Joanne, and CFO, Remy, to guarantee our financial data is precise, comprehensive, and timely. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing our operations by implementing innovative tools, minimizing manual tasks, and managing our multi-entity structure. As we grow, you will contribute to month-end closings and engage with topics such as transfer pricing and consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately and swiftly process incoming and outgoing invoices
Maintain and enhance financial systems across multiple entities
Support month-end closing activities and execute account reconciliations
Assist in payroll administration and execute payroll checks
Manage payment runs and ensure timely debt collection
Support the implementation of accounting tools and automation projects
Continuously improve processes and minimize manual work through AI and technology
Handle general financial administration and provide support for ad hoc projects
