Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Law. Preferred professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience in contentious insolvency or related financial investigations. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret intricate financial information. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Contentious Insolvency will manage a portfolio of contentious insolvency projects. This position involves leading investigations into transactions, handling claims of misfeasance or breach of duty, and supporting asset tracing efforts. The role also supports the growth and development of junior colleagues and contributes to business development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple contentious insolvency cases, ensuring services are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Analyze complex financial data to spot issues and help shape resolution strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports, expert witness statements, and case correspondence.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and technical development.
  • Assist with business development by preparing pitch materials and participating in client meetings.
