Master's Degree or higher in a related field. A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience or three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. Prepared to teach the assigned courses based on practical experience. NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is required. Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials as applicable for the role. Outstanding communication skills with a strong sense of initiative and sound judgment. Must comply with all requirements specified in the Faculty Handbook, including additional compliance requirements for clinical settings as outlined in the faculty compliance packet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Excellence: Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with our College's philosophy and curriculum across classroom, online, and clinical settings.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of didactic and clinical curriculum.
  • Course Coordination: Take on the role of course coordinator or team instructor, managing both independent and collaborative teaching duties.
  • Student Engagement: Offer constructive feedback, support student advising and counseling, and assist with academic remediation.
  • Data Management: Contribute to managing databases and analyzing student performance metrics, faculty evaluations, and national examination outcomes.
  • Program Development: Engage in the review and enhancement of program missions and academic policies, assisting in the admissions process.
  • Professional Role Model: Act as a mentor to students and faculty, fostering professionalism and teamwork within the College and the broader community.
  • Scholarly Activities: Participate in professional organizations to advocate for the PA profession and support ongoing program enhancement.
