Position Overview:
As the Assistant Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department. This role involves supporting the Service Director with daily service activities, upholding high customer service standards, and driving departmental performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess the leadership qualities necessary to motivate and guide a team of service professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Director in managing all service department operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee workflow in the service department, prioritizing and assigning tasks to service technicians based on their skills and the complexity of jobs.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the service team, ensuring all customer inquiries and needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain performance metrics in the service department, including productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely manner, enhancing the overall service experience.
- Aid in managing warranty claims, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely fashion.
- Support the training and development of service department staff to maintain high levels of technical proficiency and customer service skills.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized service environment, adhering to company and industry standards.
- Participate in meetings with the Service Director and other department heads to discuss goals, strategies, and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Service Director to promote overall departmental success.
