Proven experience in leading creative teams and delivering integrated projects. A strong foundation in copywriting, particularly within the oncology or broader pharmaceutical sectors. The ability to assess creative work within the context of market trends, competitive landscape, and clinical insights. Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-facing presentation skills. Familiarity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow and ideation. Desired Qualifications:Experience in guiding large, multi-brand teams or overseeing new business initiatives. In-depth knowledge of current oncology treatment landscapes and the communication needs of physicians and patients. The skill to simplify abstract or highly scientific information into accessible creative formats. Experience managing complex projects and delivering on time.

About the job

As the Associate Creative Director specializing in Copy, you will play an instrumental leadership role in crafting innovative ideas and steering teams to produce impactful work for our oncology clients. This position combines hands-on creative concept development with mentorship, assisting teams in articulating complex scientific concepts into relatable and empathetic narratives. At Klick, ACDs collaborate closely across disciplines, nurture client relationships, and enhance the creative output through effective collaboration, clarity, and artistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop strategic, scientifically accurate concepts and copy for oncology brands and campaigns.
  • Translate intricate clinical data into clear, precise messaging that aligns with brand strategy and addresses audience needs.
  • Mentor and guide copywriters and art partners, providing constructive feedback and fostering opportunities for professional development.
  • Work in partnership with Creative Directors, Strategy, Accounts, and Science & Medicine teams to refine concepts and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
  • Oversee the creative process from conception to production, ensuring high-quality standards, accuracy, and robust teamwork throughout.
