About the Role:
As the Associate Director of Brand Strategy, you will be an integral part of our Brand Strategy team, responsible for producing outstanding deliverables for our life sciences clients while enhancing departmental capabilities and processes. You will be well-versed in marketplace dynamics and adept at identifying growth opportunities to meet the evolving needs of our clients and industry. This remote position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy.
Your role will involve setting high standards for strategic excellence in alignment with the EVP Strategy, mentoring junior staff to achieve these goals, and being recognized by clients and creatives alike for your ability to devise strategic solutions that address their business challenges. You will ensure a high-quality client management experience.
As a presenter, you will advance our strategic initiatives and lead collaboration across diverse teams with varying perspectives and working styles.
Your Responsibilities:
- Innovate and develop new strategies, ideas, and services proactively.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic insights on client challenges and market trends.
- Collaborate with the Account Lead and Creative Lead to define the brand and communications direction for assigned accounts.
- Create and manage brand strategies, developing them through multiple campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze business challenges to determine how branding and communications can address them, considering both current and future contexts.
- Ensure that the brand's purpose resonates consistently across all communications and touchpoints.
- Identify opportunities for account growth both within the agency and in the wider marketplace.
- Build relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including Creative and Account departments.
- Monitor campaign performance and manage the process for award submissions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
