Professional Qualifications:Qualified Tax Advisor and/or Chartered Accountant. Key Competencies:Strong technical judgment in providing client services that are timely, commercially viable, and aligned with client needs. Technical leadership and ongoing maintenance of your expertise are crucial for client success.

About the job

As an Associate Director within our prestigious Private Client Tax team, you will take the lead in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, leveraging your considerable expertise to provide outstanding service. Your primary focus will be on cultivating and nurturing client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and contributing to the development of our team.

In response to our recent expansion, we are seeking talented individuals to join our Leeds, Manchester, or Harrogate offices, with a requirement to collaborate with colleagues in the office three times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring that client satisfaction remains a top priority for your team while adhering to the group’s Conduct Risk framework.
  • Achieve the Exceptional Advisor status and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic business initiatives that prioritize client needs while ensuring commercial viability.
  • Lead marketing and business development efforts in your area of expertise in alignment with your Head of Department.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures to mitigate risks to the firm.
  • Conduct regular financial performance reviews with your team regarding your client portfolio.
  • Maintain adherence to Delegated Authority Limits and relevant policies concerning work in progress (WIP) and debtor management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of your direct reports, including conducting annual development reviews.
  • Act as a mentor, fostering talent development in line with our Talent Building Strategy.
