Join our dynamic team at City Wide as an Associate Facility Solutions Manager (AFSM), where your proactive and innovative mindset will drive excellence in facility maintenance services. Based in beautiful Carlsbad, California, you'll be at the forefront of managing business operations for our esteemed clients in North County San Diego.
As the AFSM, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including providing essential field support, training, and guidance for onboarding new clients. You'll conduct thorough inspections of contractor performance to ensure compliance with client requirements and adeptly troubleshoot customer requests and complaints. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with both clients and contractors will be pivotal to your success.
We are looking for someone who thrives independently and collaboratively across diverse facility types, including industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, and retail environments. Your good judgment will be key in addressing client concerns, as well as in engaging the appropriate resources to meet their needs effectively. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts, procuring supplies, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of assigned client relationships, emphasizing client retention, expansion, and diversification of City Wide’s building solutions and products.
- Uphold a standard of excellence by performing detailed quality control inspections and ensuring consistent follow-through on client commitments.
- Execute client strategies and confirm that all services are delivered accurately.
- Facilitate the sale of, procure, and monitor supplies for clients to enhance service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with the Enterprise Facility Solutions Manager and/or Director of Operations regarding client issues to ensure prompt resolutions.
- Utilize City Wide’s CRM system for client inspections, billing adjustments, and management of service requests.
- Coordinate non-routine activities within client facilities via Outlook scheduling.
- Maintain updated Building Information Sheets (BIS) and Facility Solutions Manager (FSM) Summary Sheets.
- Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are complete and accurately labeled for all janitorial supplies in client spaces.
- Report client survey feedback to the Director of Operations and the Enterprise Facility Solutions Manager.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement solutions for client complaints or service deficiencies while actively monitoring compliance.
- Review scopes of work and enforce quality assurance measures to retain and grow business opportunities.
- Ensure all work aligns with client standards and company guidelines, addressing any service level discrepancies proactively.
