The Position
The Associate, Operations Engineering plays a vital role in enhancing site performance and contributing to the overall success of the company by ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of renewable energy assets. This position involves identifying and resolving technical issues, developing and implementing innovative, data-driven solutions, and independently troubleshooting complex system challenges. A proactive, analytical mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational optimization is essential. Key Responsibilities
The Associate, Operations Engineering will be tasked with maintaining reliability and performance for a fleet of standalone PV, BESS, and PV+BESS assets throughout the United States. As part of the Operations Engineering team, this individual will:
- Act as a technical lead in identifying and driving performance improvement opportunities through:
- Technical management of Solar and BESS assets
- Technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios
- Developing, implementing, and improving methods for detecting, reporting, and analyzing performance issues.
