What You’ll Do: Oversee portfolio construction for firm-wide client portfolios across various asset classes. Manage portfolio cash flow, transitions, risk management, and compliance with client guidelines. Engage in critical thinking regarding portfolio optimization while staying updated on industry best practices. Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, business development, and client service teams as necessary for portfolio oversight. Communicate portfolio insights and research findings to the broader investment team and senior management. Participate in projects focused on process improvements and workflow automation, including the use of AI. Work with other departments to identify and address potential conflicts and enhance processes. We’re Looking for Teammates With: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field; a Master's degree is a plus. Relevant experience in portfolio management or quantitative finance, demonstrating strong analytical skills. Proficiency in portfolio management software and advanced analytical tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Position Overview:

The Associate Portfolio Manager, Implementation will be an integral part of our Implementation Team at a leading global equity management firm known for its quantitative approach. In this role, you will apply advanced portfolio construction methodologies and cutting-edge technology to effectively manage client portfolios. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the broader Implementation and Portfolio Management teams, as well as other investment professionals, to research and implement innovative portfolio construction techniques and trading strategies, enhance the investment process, and elevate the Firm's capabilities. Acadian supports a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be on-site in the Boston office three days per week.
