Do you have what it takes?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.2+ years of experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and object-oriented programming. Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Proven ability to thrive in an agile development environment. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes. Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure. You will have an edge if you also possess:Experience in creating LLM-based applications. Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., pgvector, ChromaDB). Experience with GitHub Copilot.

What does this role entail?

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing powerful backend systems that are vital for our Fraud Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering initiatives. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual with a solid understanding of contemporary backend technologies.

Your Impact:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create scalable solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Engage in an agile development environment, participating in daily stand-ups and contributing to sprint planning.
