Your Role
As a key member of our expanding UK Healthcare Team, you will manage client relationships, spearhead business development, and deliver high-quality advisory and design solutions tailored to the healthcare sector across the UK, with opportunities for international collaboration.
We offer flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work from any of our primary offices or from home. You will be involved in prestigious projects including Hillerod Hospital in Denmark, Cambridge Children’s Hospital, and Royal Marsden Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leadership in the development of the Structural Engineering team within the UK Healthcare division.
- Manage your own projects from inception to detailed design, ensuring technical excellence and exceptional client service.
- Act as a structural engineering project manager, effectively allocating resources and coordinating tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, including MEP, civil, and geotechnical experts.
- Enhance the visibility and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team.
- Develop and oversee innovative structural engineering concepts and design philosophies.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, representing Ramboll at project meetings.
- Communicate design concepts clearly to team members and construction sites.
- Implement best practices to deliver sustainable, zero-carbon, and high-quality advisory and design services.
- Conduct site visits to support and review ongoing structural engineering designs and project contracts.
- Participate actively in technical groups and team meetings to foster continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of team initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and collaboration.
