Role Overview: Associate Technical Program Manager
This Guangzhou-based role focuses on managing post-sales orders and programs within Fictiv China. The Associate Technical Program Manager schedules work orders, serves as a project engineer for manufacturing partner questions, and provides production status updates. The position also involves identifying and managing project risks that could affect customer requirements. This role reports to the head of program management in Feidi.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate with costing, DFM, or sales teams to transition orders and program requirements from pre-sales quoting to execution.
- Work closely with the customer program manager to launch orders and schedule production with manufacturing partners.
- Oversee orders and programs from kickoff through delivery, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
- Monitor order and program planning with manufacturing partners to support timely, high-quality shipments.
- Understand customer technical and quality needs, using personal or team expertise to resolve production issues and offer guidance to both internal teams and manufacturing partners.
- Serve as a liaison across global and multifunctional teams (including Fictiv teams in the US, China, India, Mexico, and manufacturing partners in China), ensuring requirements, challenges, and project status are clearly communicated internally and externally.
- Follow established procedures to manage changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
