Since our inception in London in 2009, we have expanded our reach to over 400 cities worldwide, fostering a sense of community that celebrates music and the arts.

As an Audio Engineer at Sofar, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional sound quality at our intimate shows across New York City. Collaborating closely with our local crew, you will ensure that our performances resonate beautifully, enhancing the overall experience for both artists and audiences. Given the unique nature of our venues, creativity and adaptability are key in achieving the perfect sound in diverse settings!
Important Note: This is a month-to-month contract position. You will be expected to work consistent shifts (2-4 per month, depending on the volume of shows) and provide your own equipment, including a PA system and mixer. Most of our shows are scheduled for the evenings, Thursday through Saturday.
