Essential Qualifications:* Strong proficiency with testing and calibration equipment, as well as programming languages.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Audio Visual Systems design, particularly with large-scale commercial projects.* Expertise in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.* Proficient in control system design, specifically with Crestron, Biamp, Extron, and QSC systems.* Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with clients, colleagues, and team members across all organizational levels.* Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.* Proven project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.* Advanced technical and troubleshooting skills for complex systems.* Ability to independently diagnose and test intricate system issues.* High-level computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization, and operation of AV equipment.* Ability to work independently while adapting to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.* Knowledge of computer networking and troubleshooting techniques.* Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.* Certifications such as Crestron CTI-P201 or Q-SYS Level 2 or equivalent are preferred.* Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company driving standards.

As an AV Designer/Engineer, you will be responsible for creating intricate audio/visual wiring diagrams, architectural plans, and precise calculations for diverse projects. You will serve as a pivotal resource, offering technical support throughout the bidding, design, permitting, and construction phases. Your expertise will also contribute to efficiency reviews and value engineering options for ongoing designs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and analyze AV systems drawings effectively.
* Collect programming requirements from various stakeholders.
* Develop innovative control modules, control code, and user interfaces.
* Design new audio DSP files tailored to project needs.
* Mentor junior programmers and commissioners to enhance team capabilities.
* Conduct thorough commissioning and acceptance testing of code.
* Test integrated systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Present completed systems to clients, demonstrating their functionality.
* Generate comprehensive end-user documentation and programming guides.
* Maintain and update programming code in deployed systems.
* Manage control code within a version control repository.
* Travel to various job sites as required.
