Qualifications
Required & Preferred Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, collections, accounting, or a related discipline (required). - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience (preferred). - Previous exposure to Taft-Hartley Trust Funds or auditing experience is highly desirable. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Proven track record of managing complex issues while maintaining a professional and collaborative demeanor. - Experience in troubleshooting and investigating problems across multiple stakeholders. - Strong organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and distribute audit announcement letters; maintain tracking databases and accounting records.
- Provide necessary documentation to auditors and oversee audit progression to completion.
- Process finalized audits and communicate findings to employers, including notifications of any overdue contributions.
- Review auditor invoices for accuracy and manage audit and delinquency payments.
- Generate and monitor delinquency letters; work collaboratively with employers to resolve outstanding matters.
- Assist legal teams with documentation and administrative tasks related to collection initiatives.
- Identify and follow up with delinquent contractors to facilitate repayment agreements.
- Represent the organization in discussions with external entities, including attorneys and fund administrators, to negotiate payments and services.
- Keep track of accounts under legal scrutiny and provide updates on their status.
- Offer recommendations to senior management regarding overpayments and other discrepancies.
- Participate in special projects and fulfill additional duties as assigned.
