Project Highlights:
- Our core FX verification product is experiencing rapid scaling with continuous enhancements, driven by a well-defined development roadmap.
- In light of recent regulatory changes in the EU and US, we are also developing a new product to assist banks and businesses in meeting their compliance obligations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Enhance our existing automated testing framework to reduce manual testing efforts, currently 80-90% automated.
- Design and develop automated testing suites, including writing test scripts that integrate seamlessly with our CI/CD pipeline and operate in containerized environments.
Team Culture:
- You will report directly to the CTO, a pioneering engineer in the field.
- Collaborate with a team of 10 backend/full stack engineers and 2 other QAs, most of whom have backgrounds in prestigious tech companies.
- Engage with a modern tech stack and methodologies that adhere to global best practices, focusing on scalable solution design and development.
- This role is particularly well-suited for candidates with startup or scale-up experience and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in API automation testing with a solid understanding of API testing and integration workflows.
- Proficient in automated frameworks utilizing Gherkin syntax (e.g., Cucumber, Karate).
- Competence in writing and interpreting feature files structured with Given/When/Then.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, logs, configmaps, etc.).
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a JavaScript/TypeScript software engineer.
- Experience in developing automated tests for fintech products.
Level / Grade:
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
- This is a 100% individual contributor role reporting to the Technical Lead.
- Not suitable for manual testers looking to transition into automation testing.
Working Arrangement:
- Hybrid role: work 3 days weekly from our central KL office, conveniently accessible via LRT.
