Primary Role
As an AV Technician, you'll embark on an entry-level journey focused on mastering the installation of commercial audiovisual systems. This role is perfect for those eager to acquire technical expertise, gain practical experience, and establish a career in the AV sector. Under the mentorship of experienced staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality installations and contributing to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Pull, terminate, label, and test AV cabling under the supervision of senior technicians.
· Assist with the installation of equipment, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, racks, and control devices.
· Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and vehicles.
· Support Lead Technicians in system setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
· Adhere to company safety policies and industry best practices at all job sites.
· Document work performed accurately, including labeling, redlining drawings, and updating project notes.
· Continuously enhance technical abilities through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
· Exhibit professionalism when interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.
· Contribute to successful project completion by assisting with various tasks as directed.
