Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain custom test solutions for flight avionics electronics, power distribution systems, batteries, RF components, and electro-mechanical actuators. Create and implement a modular, scalable test architecture utilizing both commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and custom PCBAs for signal measurement, applying flight-similar loads, and powering units under test. Develop test automation software to interface with flight hardware/software, test equipment, instrumentation, and production systems. Conduct development and qualification test campaigns to push designs to their limits, ensuring reliable flight hardware, including thermal cycling, random vibration, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC, and more. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, proposing and implementing necessary changes to resolve them. Maintain configuration control of test hardware and software. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and reduce costs to meet launch targets. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in designing, building, or testing circuit boards or other electronic devices.

The Avionics system serves as the foundation for highly reusable, operable, and dependable space systems. As an Electrical Development Test Engineer in our innovative startup, you will be tasked with creating test solutions to validate our flight avionics hardware. Collaborating closely with the development and production teams, you will design and implement the avionics test architecture while continuously refining your designs. You will actively pursue cutting-edge solutions to complex challenges and contribute to defining company standards for avionics development. Being adaptable, quick-moving, self-directed, and eager to learn is essential for this role.
