Avionics Associate Engineer (Fall 2026)
This Associate Engineer position is a twelve-week, salaried role tailored for graduates holding a bachelor's degree who intend to pursue a master's degree after their tenure with Astranis. In this role, you will engage in challenging and meaningful work, comparable to the projects assigned to full-time engineers. Our Associate Engineers have previously contributed to the design and testing of hardware and software destined for space, with many transitioning to permanent roles within the company.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the avionics engineering team to build and test flight hardware.
- Design testing equipment to validate designs under a variety of stressed conditions.
- Debug and bring up designs in the laboratory environment.
- Develop code to assess performance and automate the testing of satellite hardware.
- Support low-level software development for interfacing with various spacecraft subsystems.
