The Role

As an Avionics Systems Engineer specializing in Safety Critical Systems, you will lead the development and delivery of safety-critical flight control and vehicle management systems. Your collaboration with industry partners will be pivotal. You will not only define the system but also guide it through all stages of development until it reaches the operational flying platform. This role will have you working with a diverse, high-caliber team of experts, strategists, and collaborators.

The Day-to-Day

  • Oversee the technical development of system architectures and establish requirements for Safety Critical Systems, including flight controls and air vehicle management, in close collaboration with internal teams and partners.

  • Plan and manage the execution of the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements development to qualification.

  • Lead the preparation of technical deliverables and documentation.

  • Develop certification and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to aviation and regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle.
