Your Responsibilities
As the AWS Security Architect, you will take ownership of the IT security architecture. This involves designing, updating, and ensuring effective implementation across various systems and projects.
Your weekly tasks may include:
- Evaluating risk analyses to verify the realism of threat scenarios and the robustness of proposed controls.
- Conducting proof of concept (PoC) tests on innovative security tools to determine their viability for integration.
- Ensuring that sensitive information is managed correctly across the bank's systems, including encryption and access controls.
- Implementing new security processes and solutions aligned with the organization's security strategy.
- Collaborating with cross-functional security teams at the group level.
You will gain exposure to a broad technical landscape, including network security, cloud environments, application security, cryptography, and a variety of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, and more.
