About the job

We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with a solid foundation in Windows and Linux server administration. This role involves supporting our cloud infrastructure operations with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with Azure platform services, basic networking concepts, Active Directory, and backup/storage solutions. Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies is a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor Azure cloud environments along with on-premise hybrid workloads.

  • Execute routine operational tasks including server patching, backup monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.

  • Administer and troubleshoot both Windows Server and Linux Server platforms.

  • Assist with basic cloud networking tasks, including subnetting, NSG rules, and VPN setups.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory and other identity management components.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address issues and provide operational support.

  • Document runbooks, standard operating procedures, and operational workflows.

  • Engage in change management, incident response, and post-incident evaluation.

  • Participate in an Agile work environment, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
