Methods is seeking a skilled Back-end Developer with expertise in Java Spring Boot and Python to enhance our team within the private sector business unit on a permanent basis.
This hybrid role requires three days a week on-site in our London office, offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Rebuild: Take a pivotal role in migrating and reconstructing our core architecture using Java Spring Boot to align with a composable, cloud-native environment.
Connector Development: Design and fine-tune technical connectors for a wide range of global channels, including generalist marketplaces, social commerce platforms (e.g., TikTok Shop), and quick-commerce services (e.g., Glovo, Deliveroo).
Catalog Publication Flow: Lead efforts in rebuilding the catalog publication flow, resolving technical challenges such as category mapping, product variant synchronization, and asynchronous marketplace APIs.
Business Logic Migration: Work collaboratively to transition complex legacy business rules (including pricing calculations, stock filtering, and fulfillment decisions) into dedicated BCP assets, ensuring OMC focuses solely on orchestration and connectivity.
System Reliability: Guarantee 100% accurate real-time synchronization of stock and price updates to prevent financial discrepancies, thereby enhancing the customer experience.
