As a Backend Software Engineer, you will take ownership of backend services, infrastructure, and data systems integral to Robinhood's core financial offerings. This role involves addressing complex scalability issues while deepening your understanding of U. S. financial systems and creating a direct impact on products that millions rely on.
The Brokerage team focuses on facilitating the launch of new features, broadening our financial services, and welcoming millions more into the financial ecosystem. This team manages essential services that underpin trading and brokerage infrastructure, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams throughout Robinhood.
The Incentives team drives user growth and engagement through strategic incentives and platform capabilities. One sub-team concentrates on boosting net deposits through various levers, while the other develops a centralized, scalable platform to deliver personalized rewards company-wide.
The Identity team safeguards both Robinhood and its users by preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with regulations. They manage vital systems for identity verification, KYC, and fraud prevention across all products, working closely with teams like Data Science, Brokerage, and others.
