Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and assemble various battery components and cells, including electrode material processing, slurry mixing, coating, assembly, and testing. Fabricate materials and cells using a glove box and/or pilot-scale manufacturing processes (e.g., roll-to-roll processes, stacking machines, tab welding, pouch sealing). Characterize cell materials using diverse analytical techniques (e.g., rheometers, viscometers, particle size analyzers, thickness measurements, microscopes). Ensure laboratory organization and cleanliness. Conduct regular preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Accurately document material processes in a timely manner. Adapt to evolving processes while maintaining detailed notes and updated data sheets. QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced laboratory or manufacturing environment requiring precise execution of processes. Familiarity with powder processing techniques, including mixing, synthesis, and sieving, is advantageous.
