About the job

At SpaceX, we envision a future where humanity explores the cosmos. Our mission is to develop groundbreaking technologies that enable human life on Mars and beyond. Join us as we push the boundaries of innovation.

BAW DEVICE ENGINEER (STARLINK/AKOUSTIS)

As a fully owned subsidiary of SpaceX, Akoustis specializes in advanced RF filters leveraging proprietary XBAW technology. Our mission aligns with SpaceX's vision of connecting the world through our Starlink satellite network. Through exceptional engineering and production capabilities, we are revolutionizing global internet access, bringing connectivity to previously underserved regions. Starlink is more than a service; it's an opportunity for millions.

The XBAW technology employs a MEMS-based thin film transfer process, allowing for tailored piezoelectric materials that enhance resonator performance and optimize coupling and Q factor. Our Device Engineers are pivotal in refining XBAW resonators and filter designs. You will engage in FEM simulations and experimental design of experiments (DOE) aimed at enhancing the figure of merit for BAW resonators, focusing on efficient process integration and expediting filter development cycles.

About SpaceX
