Join our team as a Beamline Paint Operator, responsible for managing and operating our state-of-the-art automated paint line dedicated to structural steel beams. Your role will involve ensuring optimal coating application, maintaining equipment functionality, and overseeing quality control procedures throughout the painting process.

  • Operate and maintain machines, ovens, baths, and pumps efficiently.
  • Set paint guns to high voltage levels and adjust air flow rates for precision application.
  • Implement painting programs and adapt parameters as needed for various projects.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of ATEX risks related to explosive materials and automatic fire systems (STS).
  • Run and manage the PH degreasing bath equipment, ensuring proper degreasing and rinsing of products.
  • Oversee drying, baking ovens, and paint booths to ensure high-quality output.
  • Conduct bath controls including pH levels and product titrations.
  • Perform paint checks using Elcometer tools to ensure quality standards.
  • Wear and maintain proper PPE including glasses, overalls, masks, earplugs, caps, gloves, and plastic sleeves.
  • Utilize PM Blow guns and an ATEX vacuum cleaner for maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Operate cleaning machines to maintain floor cleanliness.
  • Manage suction cabins for cleaning powder tanks effectively.
  • Employ plastic bags and shovels or dust collectors for collecting powder efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance using spare parts as necessary.
