Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED is required. Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, and pass a Tuberculosis test if not conducted in the past year. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform tasks such as sitting, squatting, bending, and lifting. Comfortable lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and play a crucial role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this fulfilling position, you will provide individualized support to children, implementing behavior intervention plans tailored to their unique needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you will teach essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and daily living while working to minimize challenging behaviors. We seek compassionate individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children. While prior experience is not necessary, a willingness to learn and grow is essential.

This role requires physical stamina as you will be actively engaged with children, which may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
